He is the founder of Tech Crunch. When you look at his back, you'll see only his own works. He did not get his fame by doing something for big companies. With the quick improvement of Web 2.0, he made a big bounce with a wp blog called Tech Crunch, at the beginning, there was a sitemeter on this blog :) and it wasn't look that proffessional. But his business vision made his company one of the most visited blogs. Now, Tech Crunch is at the heart of Web 2.0. He is currently unrivalled. His closer competiter is Mashable. Mashable is just like a newspaper, Tech Crunch is TV, you can follow yesterday's web news from Mashable. This is sad but true.
The only question mark in my mind about his business is, why do they promote or support only highly funded web start-ups? I don't want to believe that there is a money relation with posts.
There are 10 blogs that i visit everyday. One of them is Tech Crunch and i think it deserves it. |
