"Ashley Harkleroad (born May 2, 1985), is an American tennis player. Born in Rossville, Georgia, Harkleroad reached a career-high ranking of No. 39 on June 9, 2003. She is currently ranked 60 in singles and 145 in doubles, as well as 54 in the Race to the Sony Ericsson Championships. Her career prize money to date is $878,62" according to wiki
Give her some time and the rating could change. Without a victory and a modest professional record to her credit, Harkleroad has to earn an upgrade. Her junior record is astounding but at the end of the day, does the average tennis fan care? To her dismay, negative.
We want a Wimbledon title or a US Open Championship in the near future. If not, we would be content if she could advance to the second round. As famous as she is now for her appearance and Kournikova comparison, her recognition will skyrocket with a big tournament result. according to askman
She should urgently give up picayune business and focused on her real business, her job, her life... according to me. |
