you guys are dumb if you think black man Obama is best. Look at the people he associates him self with. Louis Farrakhan, his pastor and many more. They hate the white people and America. Fox news is bias for a good reason. Democrats are STUPID. Mccain is best for this place considering who is running.

The irony is that none of the 4 options listed are Fox News, on a Fox News website.

As a government employee I am subjected to the propaganda of faux news every break and lunch hour due to it being the only station on the facilities closed circut. I hope that changes with a change of administration and political party but I have my doubts. Fox has learned the lessons of the Nazi SS well!!!

You have ALL missed the point of this perceived irony.

Look at the choices.

The New York Times - probably the most respected, highly circulated newspaper in the world, and, although not free from bias, not exactly dirt rag.

The Associated Press - not so much a news company, as much as a collective of news sources, regarded as so legitimate, it is often the first source cited.

NPR (National Public Radio) - Paid for through donations, both public, and corporate, and government funding. In all likelihood, the most accurate of news sources, at least for that particular cross section of the public that is informed.

And finally, MSNBC - Actually, as one of the two top competitors for FAUX news, and the only name on the list that is of the same breed of up to the minute, in your face, 24 hour information channel as FAUX, it's the only logical choice. In this list, MSNBC is the only apple in a list of oranges.

Guest_phil (17.),

Congratulations, you can use a dictionary. It's too bad while you were looking up the definition for irony that you didn't check out the other several meanings. This picture is indeed a valid form of irony, if I was you I would be embarrassed right now. :)

Irony, when used as a literary technique, is defined as "a technique of indicating, as through character or plot development, an intention or attitude opposite to that which is actually or ostensibly stated." Although this isn't literature, it still fits the bill.

By asking who is the most biased without including themselves, makes them biased. That's not just irony, it's also hypocritical.

HYSTERICAL! I fucking hate Fox News.

It is quite funny, but definitely not "ironic". I don't know why everyone has to defend the creator of this as a matter of national pride. That insane unbalanced patriotism is the cause of a lot of the generalizations about Americans

It doesn't matter, all major news outlets (worldwide, not just in america) are total crap, they focus on getting sales, not giving facts.

guest I. Nory:

why cant people not from America make generalizations about Americans does it not make them more objective?

also i think guest Phil is referring to dramatic irony as opposed to verbal irony although this could be a trans-Atlantic mix-up...?
